habits 101 : mulut kemam
New habit alert!! I dont' know when, I don't know how, I don't know why. But I just like to do it... All together now!
Umi & Baba says : It's a very cute habit, and we can't stop laughing when Nadhrah does that! We'd race to get the camera to snap her on it, but she'd stop and stare at the camera once she sees it. It was hard to get the pics, but here in this series of pics she did persist on doing it while getting clothed. But lately she's not doing it as much, maybe she'd drop it sooner or later. So this pictures are a dollar a piece!

the stroller ultimatum
In keeping up with Hollywood movie tradition, things come in trilogies. However, "the stroller - part 3" doesn't have the same ring to it as the above title, which just oozes class. Heheh.
So I have a new stroller. Where does the story continue? Of course, (also in keeping with Hollywood movie trends) back to the place where it all began in the first part - Sogo!! Well, Umi wanted to go because there is a sale going on there. And of course, I get to try my brand new stroller. Yeayy!!
it fits perfectly in the car boot!!
look at my feet!! it's so spacious in here!!
cool babe comin' thru!!
I'm turning green.. am i gonna turn into Hulk??
Umi's favourite girl
Baba also joining in the fun
the stroller Umi originally wanted vs. the stroller Umi bought
all belted up
I'm gonna perform a Houdini with these belts one day
hmm... I wonder where's the auto-cruise button
all these shopping is tiring me... time for a nap!!
just for old time's sake.. sogo yatta!!
p/s : trilogies are out, (pointless) comebacks are in... maybe when I'm older, I'll make a bigger, better, badder, brainless comeback and do a part 4 ala Rambo/Die Hard and name it "John Stroller 4.0"

rollin rollin rollin
Ever wondered how I got from this position...
..to this position??
Well, wonder no more!! Now you can view the action in all its full glory!! (I mean view the video below...)
Yessszaa... I can roll!! Well, it has been a while now, actually. Umi used to train me to do this by letting me lie down all by myself and she would stand behind me (the position of the camera in the video above). It's only natural that I try to find her by looking behind (while lying down, that is). I usually try to look behind and slowly, my momentum carries me to a face down position. Weehooo!! It's called "rolling". You can try to attempt this stunt it at home. I know it's not dangerous because even a baby like me can do it!
Notice that I rolled to the right? Well, unfortunately that's the only direction I can go all the way for now. Somehow I can't go left yet, only halfway. Yes, I'm more right-inclined. And I can't go back to lying down. Well, right now I don't really intend to, because this is my favourite position...
Beware of my newly-created 4 Kung Fu moves...
big round eyes tiger!!
closed eyes dragon!!
cutie face mantis!!
monkey face!!
Sometimes, I just love to do this...

the blogger in me
Blogging is not so easy after all. Especially if you're a 5-month-old baby.
After 8 posts, I'm still just starting to get the hang of this. Sometimes you get days when you don't know what to write about. Sometimes you know what you wanna write, but the words just don't come into your head. Sometimes you wanna describe something, but you just can't put them into words.
Lucky for me, it's not so much about words here in this blog. It's mostly about the pictures! Woohoo!!

on Umi's besday
So where did we go to on Umi's besday? Well, let me tell you, it's a long journey to... the nation's administration capital & the nation's multimedia super corridor! The day before, Baba just told Umi, "Esok kite keluar pukul 11 yek?" without telling her where we would go to. That very morning, we showed her my besday greeting post here, which was a nice surprise to her as well.
So off we went at 11am sharp. Baba decided to take the new KL-Putrajaya highway route just to test it out while it's still free. The expected long journey there really seemed short - partly cos I felt asleep in the car on Umi's shoulders - and because of the new highway.
Once we're there, we went straight to lunch at Kelab Tasik Putrajaya. It's a nice place to eat with the view of the lake and Putrajaya's PM complex. The food was ok, I guess, since I did not have any. But Umi and Baba seems to be enjoying it.
we've arrived!
just the three of us
umi's birthday lunch...
..which was so yummy..
..and so delicious..
..but I can only look from afar..
..well, might as well play with my teether
After that, next activity - surprise for Umi!! We took Umi to Cyberview Lodge Resort & Spa to treat her for a spa and massage break. Actually Baba promised her this last year, but then she got pregnant with me and they couldn't risk having spa and massage while Umi being pregnant. It could have harmed the baby, which would turn out to be me!
So Umi's spa treatment - which consists of bath, scrub and massage (and a surprise birthday cake!) - was going to take 2-and-a-half hours. So me and Baba left Umi to indulge in the treatment and we left to go sightseeing. Baba likes to see Putrajaya's iconic buildings, which are a sight to behold. You couldn't find these kind of design and architecture here in Malaysia 10 years ago, and now they're all in the same place.
After that, we went to Alamanda Putrajaya. I need my milk supply and a diaper change, while Baba also needs a break from all those driving.
yeay! another shopping mall conquered!
I heard about this place before..
the fountain of youth has turned me into a baby!
crouching baby, hidden nadhrah
We sent off Umi at 2pm, so at 4.30pm we went back to fetch her. When we reached there, Umi was a few more minutes due to come out. While we were waiting, the staff there at Sembunyi Spa really took a liking to the cute lil' me. Hihihi...
So Happy Besday, Umi!! Hope you enjoyed your besday this year, the first one with your baby daughter!!
